Aims

The purpose of the qualification is to develop learners’ knowledge and understanding of health and safety at an organisational level. It includes the processes by which health and safety is managed in an organisation, procedures for developing and implementing safe systems of work, how risk assessment is developed and implemented and how to review health and safety across an organisation.

Prior Knowledge

There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level two in literacy and numeracy or equivalent. The qualification is suitable for learners of 16 years of age and above.
