Aims

The Level 3 Award in Risk Assessment (RQF) provides learners with the knowledge and skills required to carry out risk assessments in low risk environments. Learners are required to undertake a risk assessment as part of the training. It will prepare learners to progress to a qualification in the same or another subject area and prepare them for further development as a risk assessor.

Prior Knowledge

There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level two in literacy and numeracy or equivalent. The qualification is suitable for learners of pre – 16 years of age and above.
