Stephen Williams

Steve is a Projects Manager within Gully Howard Technical, and also delivers residential energy assessment and stock condition training courses. Steve has been with Gully Howard Technical since 2011, and prior to that spent 20yrs within the construction industry, which started with a time served apprenticeship.

His interest lay mainly in the thermal performance of a building and the technology used within residential buildings to conserve power and fuel, which led him to gain a qualification as a Domestic Energy Assessor (2008). Steve went on to study at Reading University (CEM) for a Foundation in Building Surveying Practice, and then a Degree in Building Surveying, which developed his knowledge and understanding in building fault diagnosis and building technology.

Steve has a variety of roles within Gully Howard Technical, including: delivery of Domestic Energy Training courses, CPD, Stock Condition training, and overseeing individual project work.

Steve holds the following academic qualification and industry certifications:

  • Degree in Building Surveying BSc (Hons)
  • Foundation Degree in Building Surveying Practice (DipSurvPrac)
  • Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment (DipDEA)
  • P402 Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos (inc Risk Assessment and Risk Strategies)
  • Certificate in Commercial Property Valuation

Outside of work Steve enjoys driving holidays across Europe, especially around Italy and France as well as making and repairing things.
